Equity actors for various roles in the upcoming 2018-2019 season. See breakdown.

PREPARATION

Please prepare two contrasting contemporary monologues of no more than 3 minutes total.

Please bring a stapled picture and resume.

AMBER
Early-mid 20s, high strung, talkative, charmingly neurotic. She does not present as insecure. She is Jewish.

TOM
Early-mid 20s, appealing and confident with some swagger that conceals a deeper vulnerability. He is African-American.

A Jewish accountant from St. Louis. A tall, commanding figure with warmth and honesty.

SALLY TALLEY (cast)
A nurse and the outcast of a wealthy family. Intelligent, quick-witted, lacking in self-confidence.

MIRELE EFROS
Skilled businesswoman and matriarch, intimidating and caring, 50 years old

YOSELE
Her older son, naïve and obedient, 20 years old

DANIEL
Her younger son, more rebellious than Yosele, 18 years old

MAKHLE
Her loyal maidservant, 40 years old

REB SHALMEN
Her employee and trusted advisor, 50 years old

SHEYNDELE
Yosele’s bride, strong-willed and opinionated, 18 years old

REB NOKHEMSTE
Sheyndele’s father, an opportunist, 50 years old

KHANE-DEVOYRE
Sheyndele’s mother, highly-critical, 50 years old

SHLOYMELE
Yosele and Sheyndele’s son, 13 years old
