SYNOPSIS
The American Premiere of The Third Man is a gripping theatrical adaptation of the classic noir film, set in post-World War II Vienna. The Third Man follows American writer Holly Martins as he arrives in a city divided by occupying forces to reconnect with his old friend Harry Lime, only to discover Lime has apparently died under mysterious circumstances. As Holly investigates, he is pulled into a shadowy world of deception, black-market dealings, and moral ambiguity. This thriller is a stylish, suspenseful, and cinematic exploration of loyalty and betrayal. This developmental production is directed by Sir Trevor Nunn, the Tony and Olivier Award-winning director of Broadway and West End musicals including Les Misérables, Cats, and Sunset Boulevard.
