Equity actors for roles in THE SEAGULL PROJECT.
The Seagull Project invites local Seattle actors to attend general auditions for a to-be-announced 2027 Mainstage production, co-produced with Intiman Theatre and directed by Gavin Reub. Developmental workshops and training for the acting ensemble of this production will commence in 2026.
Auditions are open to all members of Actors’ Equity Association (AEA). Artists of all gender identities, ethnic backgrounds, disabilities, and neurodiversities are enthusiastically encouraged to attend.
Please prepare one (1) monologue in the style of 20th century dramatic theater canon. Some examples of playwrights include but are not limited to Anton Chekhov, August Wilson, Lillian Hellman, Henrik Ibsen, Lorraine Hansberry, and Harold Pinter. Your monologue should not exceed 3 minutes in total length.
