Breakdown

PAULINE - Jewish - Late 50's - One of Mel Edison's older sisters. She's first seen doing needlepoint. Pragmatic and literal, she's concerned about her brother... and money. MUST BE GOOD WITH COMEDY.

JESSIE - Jewish - Late 50's - One of Mel Edison's older sisters, Jessie is sensitive and emotional. Jessie is considerably less confrontational than her sisters. MUST BE GOOD WITH COMEDY.

PEARL - Jewish - Late 50's - One of Mel Edison's older sisters. Pearl is the mother hen of the sisters. She can be pushy and has a somewhat selective memory. MUST BE GOOD WITH COMEDY.

HARRY - Jewish - Late 50's - early 60's - Harry is Mel's older brother. A successful businessman, he's pragmatic and frugal, but he cares about his little brother and wants to see him well. MUST BE GOOD WITH COMEDY.
