SEEKING

For replacements in the currently running Broadway production. Seeking ensemble dancers

All female dancers must be 5’5” or under, have a degree of innocence about them and look very young (read 18-25). We need experienced, classically trained dancers. Most of the audition will be on POINTE. Please have pointe shoes and flat ballet shoes with you.

PREPARATION

All dancers, please be dressed, warmed up and ready to dance at the hour the audition begins. If asked to stay and sing, choose 16 bars of a simple song from the musical theatre repertoire that best shows off your voice and range. Bring sheet music in your key. An accompanist will be provided. There is no solo singing for the dancers (except ‘Meg’), but they will have to carry some vocal responsibility in the ensemble numbers.

Please bring a picture and resume, stapled together.
