Seeking (all roles are available):
Solange:
Woman, 35-45. Older than Claire, she has more outer strength and inner chaos. Lower-class. Intense. No holds barred. Seeking a virtuosic actress of great range and versatility -- emotionally and stylistically, as well as in her physical abilities, vocal range and facility with text.
Claire:
Woman, 35-45. Prettier than Solange, she has more outer vulnerability and inner strength. Lower-class. Passionate. No holds barred. Seeking a virtuosic actress of great range and versatility -- emotionally and stylistically, as well as in her physical abilities, vocal range and facility with text.
Madame:
Woman, 28-35. Younger than either Claire or Solange, she is pampered, highly dramatic and romantic, but totally sincere. Demanding without bossiness, pretentious without compunction – not a caricature or villain – the epitome of bourgeois.
Theatre’s statement: “ALL ROLES ARE AVAILABLE TO ACTORS OF ANY ETHNICITY.”
