SEEKING

Equity dancers for chorus (Male characters) of the Broadway and national touring productions of THE LION KING. Expected to attend: Marey Griffith (Associate Choreographer); David Kreppel (Music Supervisor).

We encourage dancers of all cultural backgrounds to attend this call.

NOTE:

We will definitely be hiring replacements for all North American companies from these auditions. Currently in production on Broadway and on tour.

OTHER DATES

ECC Dancers for female characters: February — late 7th.

ENSEMBLE:

Strong male-identifying dancers with a modern/ballet dance background — late teens to early 30s.

OTHER

All stage managerial positions are currently filled. ECC Procedures are in effect for this audition. An Equity Monitor will be provided.

PREPARATION

Please be warmed up and ready to dance in flat jazz shoes or bare feet. You may be asked to demonstrate acrobatic skills. You may be asked to sing; please prepare a song that shows off your voice and range and bring sheet music. A pianist will be provided. Bring a picture and resume, stapled together.
