BREAKDOWN

THE HIGH SCHOOL REUNION THAT NEVER SHOULD HAVE HAPPENED

SYNOPSIS: A bold new musical about friendship, healing, and the high school baggage you thought you outgrew. Packed with heart, humor, and unforgettable songs, THE HIGH SCHOOL REUNION THAT NEVER SHOULD HAVE HAPPENED follows a young woman's powerful journey through grief and what it means to show up for one another — and for yourself.

SEEKING:

TRACK 1 (AS CAST): A recovering hopeless romantic and people pleaser. Wears her heart on her sleeve. Extremely sensitive to what others think. Any ethnicity. Female identifying. 20s-30s.

TRACK 2: A mature, young adult wise beyond her years. An extremely gifted artist and hopes to leave this world a better place than she found it. Black. Female identifying. 20s-30s.

TRACK 3 (AS CAST): A warm personality. Has a charm about him, but is also easily masculine and comfortable with it. Has a love for theatre and art. White. Male identifying. 20s-30s.

TRACK 4: A blunt, outspoken personality. You love her or hate her. She has the best of intentions always, but no tolerance for bullshit. Any ethnicity. Female identifying. 20s-30s.

TRACK 5 (AS CAST): A flamboyant person who has mastered both side eye and high kicks. Catty yet grounded and authentic. Any ethnicity. Any gender. Tenor. (Duh). 20s-30s.

TRACK 6 (AS CAST): A loud, chatterbox. Definitely uses humor — self deprecating, for that matter — to get by and mask insecurities. Any ethnicity. Any gender. Mezzo. 20s-30s.

TRACK 7 (AS CAST): A guy who leads with a masculine demeanor and wit. A bit arrogant and stubborn. Conceals his emotions with a mask. Any ethnicity. Male identifying. 20s-30s.

TRACK 8 (AS CAST): A female identifying actress to believably portray multiple characters. Has comedic timing and hits dramatic beats well. 40s-50s.
