This raucous comedy breaks every theatre convention in the book in service of the big question “Do things really happen for a reason?” Bertolt Brecht scholar Dick Fig has been terminated by his university and is having an excruciating exit interview with Eunice – a decidedly droll administrator and devout believer. Eunice engages in small talk. Dick expounds on existential theories of alienation. Together, they experience communiques from God, lectures on science and religion, shameless advertisements, offensive cheerleading, and ever-closer attacks by a masked gunman on a shooting rampage across campus.
