SEEKING THE FOLLOWING:
STUART THORNE - (30’s) a passionate young man, he is the driving force of The Common Pursuit Magazine and also the editor in chief. Language and literature are his bread and butter. He is well read and well educated. He is sensitive yet strong. Seeking an extremely strong actor with an excellent British accent.
MARIGOLD WATSON – (30’s) the only female in the play. She is very passionate and caring. She puts others needs above her own needs and desires. She is in love with Stuart and is very passionate about the well being of The Common Pursuit Magazine. She is smart, quick witted and charming. Seeking a strong actress with an excellent British accent.
MARTIN MUSGROVE – (30’s) an accountant. He is wealthy. A loyal friend, he is not necessarily as well versed in literature as the rest. Seeking a strong actor with an excellent British accent.
HUMPHRY TAYLOR – (30’s) he is extremely smart, probably the smartest of the group. He has a dry and sarcastic personality. He is not concerned about how other people perceive him. He doesn’t sugar coat things. He will say it like it is. Seeking a strong actor with an excellent British accent.
NICK FINCHLING – (30’s) he is quick witted and charming in his way. Described as being a perpetual liar, he will say whatever it takes to advance his position. He loves to drink and smoke. He loves to talk about women and sex. He wants to be liked and is extremely concerned with how others perceive him, although he often tries to not let on to that fact. Seeking a strong actor with an excellent British accent.
PETER WHETWORTH – (30’s) extremely attractive and charming. He is a decent writer at best, his real talent is with women. He is a womanizer. He constantly has affairs behind his wife’s back and asks his friends to cover for him. Peter will do anything in his power to help his friends out. Seeking a strong actor with an excellent British accent.
