All roles and understudy positions are available:

Miriam: lead role; early 30's; female; genius child scholar/savant who disappeared from the world 15 years ago and lives with her parents in relative seclusion; she may though actually be responsible for the recent disappearance of the parents themselves; brilliant photographic memory obsessed with facts & NASA; concealing deep secrets of the past; must also have a childlike innocence and wonder; the open heart who due to tragedy has lost the connection to her intellect and grounding in reality.

Raina: lead role; 40's; female; matter of fact Investigator for Social Security who stumbles upon a woman/case like she's never met before; committed to doing her job as quickly & cleanly as possible, in fact her job is really all in life that she's interested in doing; has shut herself off from her former life as wife, mother & therapist due to some unexplained tragedy; the full intellect who due to her own scarred past has denied her heart & emotions.

Grey: mid-30's to mid-40's; male; quirky under-achiever black sheep who's finding that the family profession of being a lawyer fits him better than he expected; he's worked hard to be more than an ex-Dead Head hippie, but occasionally feels the pull to run away again; think Mark Ruffalo.

Stockard: mid-40's to mid-50's; male; suave sophisticated (though in an Indiana way...not a NYC one) lawyer with political intentions who's still hitting the peak of his career; he is used to being the light in any room & to getting his way; expert legal mind.

Garnes: mid-50's to mid-60's; male; ready-to-retire cop in a small mid-Western city who's given up a lot for his job and is incredibly aware of the price he's paid; a bit gruff and with edge; he's been well respected and regarded in his career, but has one major mistake that haunts him.

Male Understudy to cover Grey, Stockard and Garnes.

Female Understudy to cover Miriam and Raina.
