Zach: Dynamic and charismatic director/choreographer of a Broadway show. Mid-30s. Actor who moves extremely well.
Larry: Zach’s assistant. Masculine and efficient. Must be an accomplished dancer.
Mike: Accomplished dancer who sings well. Athletic and masculine with a street-wise charm. Mid-20s. Tenor.
Richie: Accomplished dancer who sings well. Ethnic and extremely energetic. Mid-20s. Tenor.
Paul: Accomplished actor who dances well. Italian or Hispanic appearance. Slight and sensitive with a natural grace. Mid-20s-30s. Tenor.
Mark: Accomplished dancer who sings well. Boyish and likeable. Late teens.
Greg: Accomplished dancer who sings. Wry and intelligent with a wicked wit. Mid-late 20s.
Bobby: Accomplished dancer who sings. Has a quirky comedic sense, yet remains immensely likeable. Mid-late 20s.

Diana: Accomplished dancer who sings well. Hispanic appearance. Warm, natural, and extremely likeable. Mid 20s. Mezzo.
Judy: Accomplished dancer who sings well. Quirky and decidedly offbeat. Mid 20s. Soprano.
Kristine: Accomplished dancer who sings. Quirky, comedic sensibility. Exhibits an extreme amount of nervous energy. Mid 20’s. Alto.
Maggie: Accomplished dancer who sings well. Likeable girl next door. Soprano with a solid mix/belt.

THE SECRET GARDEN
Archibald Craven: Sensitive leading man mid 30s-40s. Wounded and shut off from the world. Must sing extremely well. British dialect a plus. Tenor.
Dr. Neville Craven: Archibald’s younger brother. Mid 30s-40s. Solid, capable and always in command. Must sing extremely well. British dialect a plus. Bari-tenor.
Dickon: Character juvenile who sings and moves well. Late teens-early 20s. Elfin and mystical. Yorkshire dialect a plus.
Ben Weatherstaff: Character actor who sings and moves well. Mid 40s-50s. Gruff, yet very likeable. A man who has spent his life in the outdoors tending his gardens.
Albert Lennox: Mary’s father. A professional military man. Mid 30s. Attractive and intelligent. Must sing extremely well. British dialect a plus. Tenor.
Lieutenant Wright: Actor who sings very well. A professional military man in his mid-30s. Tenor.
Lieutenant Shaw: Actor who sings very well. A professional military man in his mid-30s. Bari-Tenor.
Colin: Archibald’s invalid son. Accomplished Boy soprano who sings well. Slightly built, but extremely emotional. Minimum age: 10.
Mary Lennox: Character ingenue who sings well. Defensive and somewhat unlikable, but with a distinctly vulnerable sensibility and a wry sense of humor. Must appear girlish between 12-15 years of age.
Lily: Archibald’s deceased wife. Delicate and maternal with a Dresden doll-like beauty. Mid 20s-30s. Accomplished Soprano.
Martha: Sprightly soubrette who sings well. Mid 20s. Yorkshire dialect a plus.
Rose: Lily’s sister. Attractive, child-like, and somewhat vain. Mid-20s. Soprano.
Alice: Rose’s friend. Cultured and intelligent. Accomplished Soprano.
Claire: Rose’s friend. Cultured and intelligent. Accomplished Soprano.

VICTOR/VICTORIA
“Toddy” Todd: Attractive character leading man who sings and moves well. Mid-40s. Energetic music-hall-type performer with a quirky sense of humor. Sensitive, charming and intelligent. Victoria’s best friend.
King Marchan: Attractive leading man mid-30s-40s who sings. Decidedly sexy-–a real “man’s man”. Comfortable in a 1930s gangster world.
Henri Labisse: Accomplished comic actor. Worldly-wise owner of a gay club in 1930s Paris. Energetic and very comfortable with physical humor. French dialect a plus.
Victoria Grant: Attractive and accomplished leading lady with a distinct “star” presence. Charismatic, elegant, and believable as a “male” female impersonator. Mid-20s-30s. Soprano. Must move very well. British dialect a plus.
Norma Cassidy: Eccentric comic soubrette who sings and moves very well. Sexy and dangerously funny. The proto-typical Jean Harlow-type moll. Mid 20s.
