Seeking (all roles are available (i.e. not yet offered and accepted)):

Virginia:

Woman, 20s. Appealing, seemingly confident, likable, put-together and reliable. Struggling with a fear of commitment which makes her question herself, her family and all of the decisions she has made in her young life.

Jeff / Rodney:

Male, 20s. Jeff: Virginia’s college sweetheart and current fiancé. Deeply in love, caring and supportive. Seemingly confident; hides any self-consciousness he might have with often awkward attempts at humor. Rodney: Charlotte’s high school crush. Boy w/a hidden agenda and a foul mouth.

Elliot / Nurse:

Male, 20s. Elliott: Jeff’s best friend / somewhat sidekick. Loyal as the day is long, a true friend. A little hypersensitive, has some social difficulties. Nerves get the best of him when it comes to women. Afraid of being alone. Nurse: Works in a nursing home.

Charlotte:

Woman, 40s (character ages from 4 – 40s). Virginia’s mother. Family comes first. She and her daughter were cut from the same cloth. A slightly wide-eyed suburban wife and mother. The picture of happiness on the surface, but perhaps not as content as she seems. Through a series of flashbacks, we see her as a highly dynamic, feisty, complicated younger woman/girl.

Christopher:

Man, 40s. Virginia’s father. Faithful, persistent, honest; a stand up guy. A talker. Would move mountains to protect the ones he loves. Steadfast in his support of his family.

Lucas / Henry:

Male, 40s. Lucas: Charlotte’s first great, much older, love. Piano prodigy. Intense and focused. A rational thinker. Henry: Adulterous man from Charlotte’s past. Abusive, volatile, passionate.
