THE VISIT

By Freidrich Duremmatt

Closing: October 4, 2026

SEEKING:

CLAIRE - Woman, 60s. She was a radiant, defiant young woman from the wrong side of the tracks. She was punished for it - and suffered an unforgivable injustice. She lost her child. She became a prostitute. She became a courtesan. She married a succession of wealthy men and is now the richest woman in the world. She is a fashionista, a cyborg - every part of her body should have been destroyed and put back together. She has a lethal, bone-dry, hard-won sense of humor. She is a fury with the patience of a saint.

CAT ON A HOT TIN ROOF

By Tennessee Williams
Directed by Jessica Kubzansky
1st Rehearsal: May 18, 2027
Opening: June 20, 2027
Closing: July 11, 2027

SEEKING:

  • BIG DADDY - This role is cast.
  • MAGGIE - Desperate, fiercely determined, and deeply lonely. She uses sexuality and sharp wit as armor while fighting to save her marriage and secure her financial future.

  • BIG MAMA - Deeply devoted yet fiercely mocked by her husband. She oscillates between loud denial of her family's collapse and tragic, raw vulnerability when forced to face reality.
  • MAE - Gooper’s pregnant wife. She is weaponized with maternal perfection, using her no-neck monsters (children) to visually and socially edge Maggie out of the estate.
  • GOOPER - The oldest son, an attorney driven by deep-seated resentment. He operates with calculated precision to claim the inheritance he feels he earned through compliance.
  • DOCTOR BAUGH - Passive sycophant
