Monday, December 12, 2011 Pearl Studios NYC “519”

10 AM – Equity female dancers who sing 519 Eighth Avenue, 12th Floor

2 PM – Equity male dancers who sing New York City

Please be warmed up and ready to dance when the call begins. Women: Heels and form-fitting clothing. Men: Jazz or character shoes. Some may be asked to stay and sing after all have danced. Please prepare 16 bars of a traditional Broadway song (ballad or up-tempo) that shows off range and reflects the style of the show. NO POP, NO ROCK.

Please bring a picture & resume, stapled back-to-back.

Seeking Dancers who Sing (M/F):

Characters are 20s - mid 30s. Dancers must have strong technique in all disciplines, including tap. Must also be strong traditional musical theater singers.

NOTE: PRODUCERS ARE CONSIDERING BOTH NEW YORK AND BONA FIDE WASHINGTON DC AREA RESIDENTS FOR THIS PRODUCTION. IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED A BONA FIDE WASHINGTON DC AREA RESIDENT, ACTORS MUST LEGALLY RESIDE WITHIN THE WASHINGTON DC METROPOLITAN AREA, WHICH INCLUDES BALTIMORE AND NORTHERN VIRGINIA. PER ACTORS’ EQUITY ASSOCIATION: ACTORS MAY NOT RELOCATE TO THE WASHINGTON DC AREA OR CHANGE THEIR ADDRESS TO THE WASHINGTON DC AREA FOR THE DURATION OF THIS CONTRACT IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED A BONA FIDE WASHINGTON AREA RESIDENT.
