PREPARATION

Please prepare two contrasting monologues.
If singing, one contemporary monologue and 16-32 bars from any musical.

Robin Hood: Masc presenting, 25 to 35. Heroic, outlaw, swordsman, archer, fights corruption, charming. Theatrical sword/fight experience required.

Maid Marian: Femme presenting, 25 to 35. Strong, educated, fights corruption, connects with Robin, theatrical fight experience preferred.

Friar Tuck: Masc presenting, 30 to 50. Jovial, clergyman, fights corruption, generous of heart and spirit.

Little John: Masc presenting, 30 to 40. Heroic, outlaw, fights corruption, Robin’s second in command, theatrical fight/sword experience required.

Doerwynn: Femme presenting, 22 to 30. Lively, spunky, passionate. Theatrical fight experience preferred.

Sir Guy: Masc presenting, 25 to 40. Rival to Robin Hood. Fiery, Brooding. Defender of Prince John and the Sheriff of Nottingham. Theatrical fight/sword experience required.

Sheriff of Nottingham: Masc presenting, 30 to 45. Corrupt, greedy, antagonist to Robin Hood. In league with Prince John.

Prince John: Masc presenting, 25 to 35. Greedy, cowardly, corrupt, uses his position to exploit others.

MISS MARPLE: MURDER AT THE VICARAGE

Opening: April 10th

Miss Marple: Femme presenting, 60 to 75. Astute, educated, brave, amateur detective, shrewd, generous.

Reverend Leonard Clement: Masc presenting, 40 to 50. Vicar, caring, community leader.

Griselda Clement/Other Characters: Femme presenting, 25 to 33. Vivacious, new to the village, energetic, kind.

Colonel Lucius Protheroe/Other characters: Masc presenting, 55 to 65. Wealthy, domineering, exacting, local magistrate.

Anne Protheroe/Other characters: Femme Presenting, 40 to 50. Married to the Colonel. Leader of the village. Educated, elegant.

Lettice Protheroe/Other characters: Femme Presenting, 18 to 25. Daughter from the Colonel’s first marriage. Longs for a more exciting life.
