Developmental Lab $1000/week

SEEKING

Equity actors. Seeking A CAST OF ALL AND NO GENDERS, ages 18 and up, and ALL ETHNICITIES. Seeking DISABLED AND NON-DISABLED performers who are strong, dynamic singers/actors/dancers with creative, collaborative instincts.

PREPARATION

Please prepare a contemporary musical theatre song or a pop/rock/folk story song. Bring picture and resume.

20's-40’s (in human years), any ethnicity. Ethereal, fierce warrior and leader of the Forces of Light. Strong actor with powerful, contemporary mezzo-soprano range and belt to an Eb. PRINCIPAL

[JOSH]
Identifies as male, early teens. An incredibly opinionated, smart, energetic, avid gamer. Obsessed with comic books, cons, cos-playing, and Euro board game collecting. Strong actor with great comic timing. Alto, unbroken voice. Actors of color especially encouraged to attend. SUPPORTING PRINCIPAL

[MYRA]
Identifies as female, late 50’s-70’s, any ethnicity. A professor emerita of Computer Science and Software Engineering, Myra is a sassy, open, free-spirited, often-stoned, avid gamer. Strong actor with great comic timing. Gutsy alto. SUPPORTING PRINCIPAL

[TRIS]
Identifies as genderqueer, 20's-30’s, any ethnicity. A confident, unapologetic, loyal, smart-ass, avid gamer with a heart of gold. Currently working a mind-numbing, customer-service, cubicle job. Strong actor with great comic timing. Powerful rock voice with a belt to a C. SUPPORTING PRINCIPAL

[LORRAINE]
Identifies as female, late 20’s-early 30’s, any ethnicity - especially seeking a character actor for this role. Bright, no- nonsense, unfiltered, honest, talkative, kind-hearted. Not a gamer AT ALL. Strong actor with great comic timing. Mezzo-soprano with belt to a D. PRINCIPAL

30’s-40’s (in human years), any ethnicity. A ruthless tyrant. Strong, commanding actor with a sense of gravity and authority. Bass. PRINCIPAL
