Synopsis: Set in the little village of Anatevka, the story centers on Tevye, a poor milkman, and his five daughters. Synopsis: Long before she was Carole King, the chart-topping music legend, she was an ordinary girl with an extraordinary talent. Beautiful tells the inspiring true story of King’s remarkable rise to stardom, from being part of a hit song-writing team with her husband Gerry Goffin, to her relationship with fellow writers and best friends Cynthia Weil and Barry Mann, to becoming one of the most successful solo acts in popular music history.

THE JOINT (workshop)

SYNOPSIS: During a 6-day workshop we will continue to develop this musical. This workshop will not have a public performance. It’s 1968 in a small rural town in South Carolina where the Joint, an old, run-down juke joint, sits at the heart of a changing neighborhood, serving as both a hard-drinking sensual dive and prayer-filled sacred sanctuary. The Joint is the story of three generations of women striving to live their dreams at great costs.
