A frazzled (and hilariously profane) President is way down in the polls as Election Day approaches. His efforts to remain in the White House, and to raise enough money to fund a presidential library, make for an outrageous comedy and a brilliant commentary on the current political climate in America.
>Men - Turkey Guy: 30’s-50’s (represents the turkey industry)
Dwight Grackle: 30’s -50’s (of American Indian descent)
>Woman - Bernstein: mid 30’s-early 40’s (Press secretary to the president)
(The roles of Charles and Archer are precast)
EMC points may be earned by non-Equity performers.
Callbacks will be held on Monday, May 16 at 7:00 pm
Rehearsals
Begin Monday, May 30, 2011. Rehearsal schedule is Monday through Friday nights: 7:00-11:00 pm
and Saturday times: to be determined: 7 out of 8½ hours (with additional hours during tech week).
Sundays are AEA day off.
Performances
Are Thursday, June 23, 2011 through Sunday, July 24, 2011 at Stage West, 821 W Vickery.
[Note: performances will be Thur nights at 7:30, Fri & Sat nights at 8:00 and Sun matinees at 3:00]
