Please prepare a brief song (traditional theatre music: Irving Berlin, Cole Porter, Gershwin, Rodgers & Hammerstein, Jule Styne, etc.). Bring sheet music in the correct key; accompanist is provided, but may not transpose.

Please bring a picture & resume, stapled back-to-back.

Musical screwball comedy set in 1927. All music is by George and Ira Gershwin.

Billie Bendix:

AVAILABLE ROLE. Woman, mid 20s - early 30s. Tough, clever, feisty and streetwise. Partners in rum-running with her best friends Cookie and Duke. Has always lived in a man’s world until she meets Jimmy, a millionaire playboy, and falls in love. Very appealing, attractive and, underneath her tough veneer, must have a strong sense of vulnerability. Actress must be a skilled farceur. CHEST MIX. MUST MOVE VERY WELL.
