Building on the success of last year’s critically-acclaimed The Life and Death of King John, New York Shakespeare Exchange is seeking actors for all 2012 projects.

The Fall 2012 project: Either ISLAND, By Kevin Brewer or TO BE OR NOT TO BE.

And the highly-interactive ShakesBEER, NYC’s Original Shakespearean Pub Crawl.

Productions are largely ensemble-based and all actors who wish to be considered should be interested in engaging in the rehearsal process with a great level of creative imagination. Prior experience with classical text is essential.

We are in search of a wide range of types and ages to fill out an extremely diverse season, which will require actors who can play quite young, actors who bring a sense of maturity to their work, and all ages in-between. We are interested in both union and non-union actors. All roles are currently available.
