UNDERSTUDY POLICY: Aurora Theatre employs strong understudies who are prepared to take on roles in the event of illness or film/TV conflicts for the main cast.
SYNOPSIS: Successful novelist Paul Sheldon is rescued from a car crash but wakes up captive in a secluded home owned by his self-identified number one fan, Annie Wilkes.
SEEKING
Annie Wilkes: Paul Sheldon's number one fan. A former nurse living in rural isolation. She initially presents as sweet and deeply nurturing but is masking something else entirely. She is physically capable and absolute in her control over Paul. Character Gender: Female, Character Ethnicity: Any, Character Age: 40s-50s
Paul Sheldon: A best-selling novelist. Wry and privately resentful of the pulp romance series that made him famous.
