Please be warmed up and ready to dance when the call begins. Women: Flat dance shoes or dance sneakers, street clothes, little-to-no makeup. Men: Flat dance shoes or dance sneakers and street clothes. Some may be asked to stay and sing after all have danced. Please prepare 16 bars of a contemporary pop song. Bring sheet music in the correct key; accompanist is provided, but may not transpose.

The songs of the pop group ABBA provide the score for this romantic comedy that contrasts the dreams and desires of a young woman about to become a bride with those of her mother, a free spirit of the 70’s who never married. Takes place at a taverna on a Greek island.

Characters are early 20s, OF ALL RACES, ETHNIC BACKGROUNDS AND SIZES. Seeking strong dancers with a contemporary, hip look. Must sing well. Some featured male ensemble positions have dance specialties for which Russian split jumps and acrobatics are a plus.
