Seeking:

JENNY CAVILLERI

Early to mid 20s, Mezzo-Sop, Italian-American. Working class background, but a sharp mind that got her a scholarship to Radcliffe. A beautiful, independent woman who is a bit rebellious. Jenny is a concert-level pianist, ideally seeking an actress with some piano training to convincingly portray this role.

OLIVER BARRETT III

Early to mid 20s, Pop Tenor, handsome, WASP-y. Oliver comes from an extremely wealthy family and is constantly pushing back against his father. An athlete and a scholar, who wants to make it on his own merits. Actors should be in the 5’10” – 6’3” range and be comfortable singing G’s and A’s throughout the show.

PHIL CAVILLERI

50s, Bari-tenor, Italian-American. Jenny’s father who runs a small, Italian café on Rhode Island. A working class guy who only wants the best for his daughter. Phil and Jenny have been alone together for many years since his wife died and have a very close relationship.

[ALISON BARRETT/ENSEMBLE] 50’s, Soprano, WASP-y. Alison is the softer of Oliver’s parents, but she still has a chilly edge to her. Well bred, she is always courteous, but not always warm. The actress playing this role will also take on assorted tracks in the Ensemble.
