Tuesday, January 10, 2012 (new date) at Pearl Studios “519”

10 AM – Equity female singers 519 Eighth Avenue

2 PM Equity male singers New York, NY (studios D and H)

Prepare brief contemporary pop or contemporary theatre music song. Opera, jazz, rhythm-and-blues and rock are not the proper styles. Bring sheet music in correct key; accompanist provided but may not transpose.

Bring picture and resume, stapled together.

The show is entirely sung and everyone in it must be a strong singer with a wide range. With only one or two exceptions, women must be strong belters. The men are primarily rangy high baritone, or tenors with strong low ranges.

LES MISERABLES IS CAST ENTIRELY INTERRACIALLY.

Male Ensemble:

Male artists to form an ensemble of eleven men and eight ladies. All men sing to G and ladies belt up to C.

Female Ensemble:

Female artists to form an ensemble of eleven men and eight ladies. All ladies belt up to C.
