Ethnically diverse actors with great comic chops, strong presence, and proficiency in British dialects.
[MICHAEL] Male, mid 20s to late 30s. Any ethnicity. An average, blue collar lad from Southeast London whose ex-girlfriend Mia is suddenly pregnant – which complicates things since he is now secretly dating Mia’s best friend Rebecca. Shlubby and a bit disheveled, Michael is a guy’s guy who gets caught up in the panic of premature fatherhood. His dialect is upper-lower/lower-middle class British.
[GABRIEL] Male, mid 20s to late 30s. Any ethnicity. A refined, ethereal Angel straight from the pearly gates of Heaven with a history of appearing in single women’s bedrooms to announce unwanted and impossible pregnancies. Light on his feet, he is statuesque with a dancer’s posture, a compelling presence, and a soothing voice. His dialect is a bit more standard British/RP.
[LUCIFER] Male, mid 20s to late 30s. Any ethnicity. Although he is the infamous Prince of Darkness, this heterosexual has some flamboyant and grand tendencies that might be overcompensating for his historical inability to impregnate human virgins at will. His dialect is a bit more standard British.
[GARY] Male, mid 20s to late 30s. Any ethnicity. A guy from Southeast London with an anachronistic/retro sense of style who may have drunkenly impregnated a girl way out of his league. Although a bit slimy with something “off” about him, Gary is a smooth operator abounding in confidence. His dialect is upper-lower/lower-middle class British.
NB: Mia and Rebecca have been cast.
