Ensemble Singers, male and female, for 3 chorus parts.

Preparation
Prepare 16 bars of a contemporary musical theatre song, showing range. Bring sheet music for your song; a piano accompanist will be provided. Bring a photo/resume stapled together.

Breakdown

The following chorus parts:

BUSKER
Male, late 20s – early 40s, any ethnicity. Scruffy, sexy, sensitive, intimate but mysterious, a great rock singer. Makes his money serenading passers-by on a busy street corner near a park in New York City. To also play a science teacher and an anarchist, among other ensemble roles. Principal understudy assignments. Proficient guitar players preferred. Low tenor/high baritone.

CATHY
Female, mid 30s – early 40s, any ethnicity. Stephen’s wife. Supportive of her husband’s career, but worried at the toll it may take on their family. Will also play other ensemble roles. Principal understudy assignment. Soprano who can belt to a C.

MALE SINGER
Male, 40s, any ethnicity. Handsome, distingusihed. Strong actor and singer. To play various ensemble roles. Principal understudy assignment.
