A hilarious comedy about a young Hollywood actor dueling with Hamlet, his life and the ghost of John Barrymore. The play contains roles for 3 men and 3 women. They are:
Andrew Rally:
(late 20s-30s) - a successful LA TV actor (except that his series has just been cancelled) who has, against his better judgment, come to NY to play Hamlet
John Barrymore:
(40s-50s) - Barrymore! Grand, dramatic, dashing and a bit overbearing.
Deirdre McDavey:
(29) - Andrew's breathlessly romantic, Valley girl girlfriend.
Lillian Troy:
(60s) - Andrew's devoted German agent and onetime Barrymore paramour.
Felicia Dantine:
(30s-40s) - A passionate NY real estate agent.
Gary Peter Lefkowitz:
(30s-40s) - Andrew's flashy, very LA TV friend.
