Also prepare a brief monologue in case there is time. Visually-impaired performers may request an advance copy of the sides when making an audition appointment.

Winner of the 2010 CSC Susan Glaspell Award for best new play. When Faith agrees to be a surrogate for her brother and his wife,she fi nds herself facing more complications than she bargained for. With only a boyfriend she met on “
casual-encounters.com” and a surly cat, she finds herself turning to her relentlessly optimistic dog for advice on how to view the world.

Seeking:

Faith:

Female, 33 – 40.

Male Actor 1:

A bit older than Faith. Plays: Faith's Lover, Frank, Faith's Brother, Man At Dog Park, Clergyman

Male Actor 2:

Plays: Judi (Faith's big-hearted transgender friend), Alexis, & voice of Cat, Kid, Dog. Should be able to sing.

CSC is located approximately 50 miles west of NYC.
