Please prepare a brief contemporary Broadway song demonstrating vocal range. Bring sheet music in the correct key; accompanist is provided, but may not transpose.

Please bring a picture & resume, stapled back-to-back.

Notes: Florida Equity auditions have been held. Still seeking the following roles only. At these auditions, seeking adult actors (age 18 and over) only. All listed roles are available (i.e. not yet offered and accepted).

Tracy Turnblad:

“Pleasantly plump” teenager who dreams of fame, and fights to racially integrate “The Corny Collins Show”. Must be able to belt. Must be an excellent dancer, including tap.

Link Larkin:

Teenaged dreamy heartthrob, and one of “The Corny Collins Show” council members. He falls in love with Tracy. Must sing and dance well.

Amber von Tussle:

Bratty, selfish resident princess of “The Corny Collins Show”, despite her lack of talent. Willing to do anything to win the Miss Teenage Hairspray pageant. Must sing and dance well, including tap.

Seaweed J. Stubbs:

Hip “Negro Day” dancer. Son of Motormouth Maybelle. Falls in love with Penny. Must sing well and be an excellent dancer.

JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT Music: Andrew Lloyd Webber. Lyrics: Tim Rice. Mus Dir: Eric Alsford. Choreo: Barbara Flaten. 1st reh: On/about: 2/14/12. Runs 3/7 – 4/8/12.

Joseph:

Jacob’s boyishly charming, charismatic favorite son. Good-looking. Has dreams and interprets dreams. High baritone to F. Looking for a commanding personality who exudes charm.
