Equity chorus singers who dance for HAIRSPRAY.
We welcome and encourage actors of all gender identities, expressions, and lived experiences to audition.
Actors who identify as African American or Caucasian are encouraged to audition to serve the specific historical impact of the show.
ENSEMBLE - We are seeking strong dancer/singers for this production. Ensemble members may be assigned to understudy principal roles. Ensemble members will play a variety of roles within the production.
Please prepare 16-bars of a song in the style of Hairspray (or something from the show). Bring sheet music in the correct key. You will be asked to stay and dance. Please wear comfortable clothing and shoes that you can move in (no jeans). You do not need to bring a hard copy of your headshot and resume.

Rehearsals: 6 days per week, typically Tuesday-Sunday. Rehearsal times vary, but are often in the 2:00-10:00 PM range on weekdays and 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM on weekends.
Performance schedule: 8 shows per week. Evenings, Tuesday-Saturday. Matinees, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday.
