Equity Principal dancers for roles in GOTTA DANCE.

SYNOPSIS

This production will reconstruct choreography from Bob Fosse, Jerome Robbins, Gene Kelly, Michael Bennett, Susan Stroman, Billy Wilson, and more, featuring numbers that originated in West Side Story, A Chorus Line, Pippin, Singin' in the Rain, and White Christmas, among others.

[FEMALE-IDENTIFIED ROLES] Female-identified characters, any/all ethnicities. High level of technique in various backgrounds – theatre, ballet, jazz, social dance, etc. There will be features throughout, while also utilizing the full company throughout the entire evening of dance.

[MALE-IDENTIFIED ROLES] Male-identified characters in the ensemble, any/all ethnicities. High level of technique in various backgrounds – theatre, ballet, jazz, social dance, etc. There will be features throughout, while also utilizing the full company throughout the entire evening of dance.

PREPARATION

Please come warmed up and ready to dance. Please bring character/jazz shoes (with heels if attending for any female-identified roles) and/or ballet flats; clothing you can dance/move in that shows line. Please bring a hardcopy resume, which will be used in the audition process. There will also be a QR code provided by the Casting Collaborative to upload a picture and/or resume (digitally).
