SEEKING
For the New York City Center 2019 Gala, seeking:
ENSEMBLE DANCERS
Characters are male, female, and non-binary, 20s to 40s, any ethnicity. Latinx performers particularly encouraged to audition. Seeking excellent dancers in the style of contemporary musical theater and ideally, tango. All must be able to sing. The ensemble defines the world and portrays a range of characters throughout the musical.
PREPARATION
Please come warmed up and ready to dance in the proper attire/shoes – jazz shoes, sneakers, character heels, or jazz flats.
In addition, please prepare a short cut (16 bars) of a musical theatre song in the style of the show in case we’d like to hear you sing. Please bring sheet music as an accompanist will be provided. Please also bring a picture & resume, stapled back-to-back.
