Equity actors for understudy roles in ENGLISH. Local Los Angeles actors are encouraged to audition. Ability to do an Iranian accent required.

Roles / Covers

MARJAN/ROYA (cover)
MARJAN: Iranian, 44 years old, female. The teacher; was taught both American and British English; accent reflects this. Speaks English extremely well.
ROYA: Iranian, 54 years old, female. A student; has a noticeable accent but is always understood.

ELHAM/GOLI (cover)
ELHAM: Iranian, 26 years old, female. A student; has a very thick, very Iranian accent that does not sound like Borat; we cannot always understand her English.
GOLI: Iranian, 18 years old, female. Not a girl, not yet a woman; her accent is light and sweet.

OMID (cover)
OMID: Iranian, 29 years old, male. A student; has almost no accent.
