1st rehearsal: 10/9/10. Rehearses weekday evenings and some weekend days.

Runs: 11/8 – 11/11, all shows at 7pm, at The Duplex, NYC

Part of the acclaimed Closing Notice series, bringing “flop” or under-produced musicals back to life in NYC.

NYC auditions will be held Monday, September 27, 6 pm to 10:30 pm BY APPOINTMENT ONLY.

Seeking dynamic singers/actors for the following:

Alice Van Guilder:

(Also The Cat), 20s to 30s. Upper crust but fiery and vibrant, sweet exterior that masks an equally devilish underbelly.

Bob Purefoy:

20s to 30s. A patrolman, charming, but in a goofy, awkward manner. A guy with a heart of gold.

Roger “Bulldog” Purefoy:

30s to 50s. Former Chief of Detectives, rough around the edges, very masculine.

Kate Purefoy:

30s to 50s. Wife of the Chief of Detectives, she has a toughness, can hold her own against her husband.

Matilda Van Guilder:

30s to 50s. A persnickety socialite.

Lucius Van Guilder:

30s to 50s A millionaire, has a large bravado and bluster, but can be a softie.

Pincer and Mallet:

30s to 50s Keystone cop duo, comic incompetence but with an endearing charm.

Ensemble:

(some may cover roles above). Men and Woman ages 20s-50s. Actors may play several roles.
