Prepare a brief dramatic monologue under 2 minutes. Bring picture and resume, stapled together.

Seeking:

Debbie Clay:

8 year old daughter of Joe and Kirsten

Jim Hungerford:

50-60, a bear of a man. very grounded, solid and strong a man you can lean on, Joe's AA sponsor

Ensemble Man:

To play various people in the story, i.e. people at AA meetings, bosses, neighbors.

Ensemble Woman:

To play various people in the story, i.e. people at AA meetings, bosses, neighbors.

The following roles have been CAST. Those auditioning may be considered for possible replacements if necessary.

Joe Clay:

CAST. Late 30s charismatic advertising PR agent who is married to both young Kirsten and the bottle.

Kirsten Arnesen:

CAST. 30s simple, soft, self-sufficient young woman who develops a dependency on alcohol. Joe's wife

Ellis Arnesen:

CAST. Rough-hewn 60s , Kristen's father
