Theatre states, “The mission of Cause Célèbre is to connect theatre with causes. We produce both Off-Broadway shows and one-night events, with the highest caliber of talent. Our goal is to provide thought-provoking theatre and also educate audiences about different causes.
“We recently produced a show this summer called THE SHOEMAKER, starring Danny Aiello and Lizbeth Mackay, at the Acorn Theatre. The foundation we worked with was called Tina's Wish, which raises fund to do research for the early detection of ovarian cancer. We are now producing a show called LOVE DIVIDED BY/TIMES THREE which is at the Kirk Theatre through October 31. We are also presenting a staged reading with Christine Baranski, Matthew Cowles and Mitch Eriksen on Sunday, October 17.
“We work with actors of all ages --from six years old to ninety. We also work with actors who dance as well.”
