Reading in NYC in mid-late March (casting director’s statement: “we would like the same people who do the reading to do the actual show.”

Equity Chorus Call / Dancers who sing:

Wednesday, February 16, 2011 at Chelsea Studios

10 AM – Equity Male Dancers who sing 151 West 26th Street

2 PM – Equity Female Dancers who sing New York, NY

Men wear dance sneakers. Women, bring heels and jazz sneakers.

Please prepare 16 bars of a song, contemporary to pop rock. Bring sheet music; accompanist provided.

Bring picture and resume, stapled together.

Due to the physical demands and specificity of this show, typing will occur.

Ensemble Male Dancers who sing:

Characters are in their 20s -30s, all ethnicities. Must look like boxers (welterweight to middleweight types) and be able to dance hip-hop/street jazz.

Ensemble Female Dancers who sing:

Characters are in their 20s, all ethnicities. Beautiful, statuesque “Ring Girls”, as well as female African American boxer types.
