Seeking:
Note: Auditioning performers will also be considered for other Blue Coyote productions, TBA.
Marni:
Seeking actress 18+ to play 14. Marni looks 18 or 19, but is actually 14. Attractive, bright, but conflicted, manipulative.
Girl:
Seeking actress 18+ to play 15 or 16. The Girl is sweet, affectionate, smart but not overly sophisticated.
Boy:
Seeking actor 18+ to play 15 or 16. The boy is good-natured, enthusiastic. A little ADD, a little nerdy and self-conscious, self-critical. Marches to a different drummer.
Frank:
60s. Working-class widower. Has a terminal illness. Sensitive but unsentimental. Frank and George are long-time friends, and have an easy rapport.
George:
60s. Working class, married. May be grumpy or irritable, but easygoing overall. Frank and George are long-time friends, and have an easy rapport.
Stella:
Late 50s, 60s. Unapologetically alcoholic. Acerbic, “seen it all”, tells it like it is. Comes from a long line of carnival workers, but has a faded grace and poise.
Man in the Sailor Hat:
60s or 70s. Carnival worker. Tough but showing his age, becoming a little feeble. Matter-of-fact, not very animated.
