SWINGS/UNDERSTUDIES:
MEN TO UNDERSTUDY:
WJ CLINTON – Baritone
(46 in real life at beginning of presidency)
President of the United States. The noble, heroic side of Bill Clinton. He is empathetic and wants to help transform America for a new century. Principal role.
BILLY CLINTON – Baritone

President of the United States. The darker, seductive side of Bill Clinton. He is charming and funny and has an innate understanding of people, giving him a mastery of the politics of a situation, able to dazzle the public. He is not a policy wonk like WJ and lacks WJ’s moral compass. Principal role.
KENNETH STARR – Tenor

MONICA LEWINKSY – Mezzo
(20 in real life at beginning of presidency)
Whitehouse Intern. Monica is peppy, flirtatious and a little naïve.
