Seeking:

Theatre’s casting note: “All the characters are educated, attractive, privileged WASPs – and all are very tan … Particularly interested in meeting classically trained, versatile, and imaginative actors who are skilled in character work and transformation.”

Randy:

AVAILABLE ROLE. Early 30s. The middle son. Tan, trim and athletically built. Teaches at an exclusive boarding school for boys, and coaches several of the teams there. Virile. Declamatory. Accustomed to having his way – as long as his younger brother is not around. Since his father died, he has been the man of the family. Brief nudity involved (no nudity at audition).

Jane:

Update, posted 8/24/11 at 5:28 PM: Role previously listed as available is now CAST. Auditioning performers will be considered as possible (emergency) replacements, should any become necessary. Mid 30s. Pretty. Randy’s wife, and the mother of four small children. Although she is also from the same privileged background as the family, she somehow is aware of other possibilities and ways of life. There is restlessness under her placid demeanor. Though she has been a member of the family for some time, she is still able to see them all with the eyes of an outsider.

Barbara:

CAST. Auditioning performers will be considered as possible (emergency) replacements, should any become necessary. Late 30s. The elder daughter. Tan, lean and attractive. Recently divorced mother of a couple of small children.

Mother:

CAST. Auditioning performers will be considered as possible (emergency) replacements, should any become necessary. Early 60s. Neat, well-groomed, attractive.
