Billy Bigelow:

Baritone, late 20s -30s must possess a dangerous quality that shows moments of vulnerability, full of great charm and sex appeal but has an inability to make changes to better his life.

Julie Jordan:

Soprano, early 20s, attractive but awkward, needs to show strength and not play a victim. Has difficulties dealing or processing her feelings

Carrie Piperidge:

Soprano, early 20s, a free spirit, fun quirky sense of humor, independent young woman who is adventurous and full of life. She is very in touch with her emotions.

Nettie Fowler:

Soprano, late 40s-60. Motherly with a great sense of joy, able to provide tough love, strong centered earth mother. All ethnicities with strong singing voices are encouraged to submit

Jigger:

Baritone, character type late 20s to late 40s, dangerous, lower class, conniving, manipulative, but not a major singing role, so please also submit straight theatre actors.

Enoch Snow:

Tenor, Late 20s -30s, character qualities, but not visually unappealing, self important, stiff, maticulous, masculine, not a door mat

Mrs Mullen:

Alto, Mid 30s-40s, must have a sexual chemistry with younger men, very working class and tough
