SEEKING

Equity chorus dancers for CAMELOT.

SYNOPSIS

An idealistic young King Arthur hopes to create a kingdom built on honor and dignity, embodied by his Knights of The Round Table. His ideals, however, are tested when his queen, Guenevere, falls in love with the young Knight, Lancelot, and the fate of the kingdom hangs in the balance.

MALE ENSEMBLE

Any Ethnicity. Unique and experienced performers. Masculine and play a knight of the round table. Strong and trained singer/dancer. Will understudy, as cast.

FEMALE ENSEMBLE

Any Ethnicity. Unique and experienced performers. Strong and trained singer, who is also a dancer. May understudy, as cast.

All Equity stage managerial positions have been filled.

PREPARATION

We ask that performers of all genders wear ballet shoes, soft jazz shoes, socks, or bare feet. Please come warmed up and ready to dance BALLET in form-fitting clothes. Knee pads might be helpful, but the floor work is minimal. Please prepare a brief song in case you are asked to stay and sing. Bring sheet music in the correct key. An accompanist will be provided. Also, please bring your headshot and resume stapled together.
