Please prepare a brief musical standard or musical theater song, 1930s vintage. Bring sheet music; accompanist provided. In addition, be prepared to read from sides, provided at the audition.
Please bring a picture and resume, stapled together.
Seeking actor/singers with authentic period voices. Performers must read music and move well.
Man 2:
AVAILABLE. African American, 30ish. Legit baritone a la Paul Robeson.
The following five roles are CAST (i.e. offers accepted; production is a re-mount). Auditioning performers will be considered as possible replacements, should any become necessary.
Woman 1:
CAST. 40s. Strong façade. Soprano with belt.
Woman 2:
CAST. 30ish. Thoughtful. Soprano.
Woman 3:
CAST. Seeking actress 18+; character “reads” in her teens. Spunky. Belt voice.
Man 1:
CAST. 40s. Strong character type. Tenor.
Man 3:
CAST. Seeking actor 18+; character “reads” in his teens. Wiry. Tenor/lyric baritone.
