No appointment necessary. The producer will run all aspects of this call. Equity Principal Audition procedures are not in effect, and no Equity Monitor will be provided.
Please prepare a brief contemporary comedic monologue, preferably no more than three minutes in length.
Please bring a picture and resume, stapled together.
This outrageous comedy unravels a mess of blood connections, from the inconvenient to the intolerable.
Roles:
Franny: Any ethnicity, mid-20s to mid-30s. Jacqueline’s daughter; struggling to create a normal life out of the chaos of her childhood home.
Alec: Any ethnicity, 30s. Jacqueline’s son; always in the middle of a shady business enterprise.
Matthew: Any ethnicity, mid-20s to mid-30s. Franny’s fiancé; a new convert to an obscure religious sect.
Noah: Any ethnicity, 60s. Matthew’s father; had a long-ago relationship with Jacqueline.
The following role has been CAST. Actors may be considered for possible replacements if needed:
Jacqueline: CAST. Any ethnicity, 60s.
Theatre’s statement: “All ethnicities encouraged to attend.”

Directions to the Baird Center, provided by the Theatre: “Take NJ Transit, either bus or train, to the South Orange Avenue stop in South Orange. Cross South Orange Ave from station, look for Vose (Village Trattoria on corner). Walk one block up Vose, make left onto Mead Street. Building is on right. Take the elevator up to the third floor.”
