BAYARD RUSTIN: Male African American. 30 – 45. Prisoner of conscience. Strong Tenor. Historical figure. Chief organizer of the 1963 March on Washington. NOTE: The role of Rustin will require brief-full nudity as he is admitted into prison.

HAGERMAN: Male. White. Southern. Late 40s – mid 50s. Prison warden. Strong Baritone or Bass. Historical Figure.

ENSEMBLE/AS CAST/SOPRANO: Female. African American. Late 20s. Strong Soprano.
