SEEKING


Equity actors for roles in BAD MEDICINE. Native actors are encouraged to submit for all roles. We welcome all gender fluid, gender nonconforming, trans, and non-binary folks to audition for any roles.

OTHER DATES


Rehearsals will be January/February 2027.
Performances will be February/March 2027.

AISLIN ALVAREZ - Late 20s-Early 30s. Osage woman, adopted and raised by an Irish-American family from birth. Recent PhD graduate. Intelligent, curious, and non-confrontational (mostly).

CESAR ALVAREZ - Mid 30s. Aislin's husband. Laguna Pueblo. Professor of American History with beautiful, long hair. Pragmatic to a fault.

DAWN (DRAGONFLY/NURSE) - Late 20s-Early 30s. Aislin and Cesar's neighbor. White. Chatty, kooky, nosy, and very into traditional medicine.

ERIK (BUTTERFLY) - Late 20s-Early 30s. Dawn's husband. White. A graphic designer. Also kooky, also nosy.

SHANNON (SWALLOW/MRS. RAYNES) - 40s-50s. Osage. Tour guide at the Proctor Museum of Natural History.

THERESA (DOCTOR) - 40s-60s. White. Recently-appointed interim director of the Proctor Museum.

PREPARATION


Prepare a 1-2 minute contemporary monologue of your choosing. Please bring 2 copies of your headshot and resume.
