SEEKING:

ENSEMBLE: Strong singers, actors, and dancers are encouraged to audition. Some will play the following roles:

• POTIPHAR: (Male, Baritone) Rich, self-indulgent, and sophisticated Egyptian capitalist. Makes Joseph the leader of his household. Strong character. Doubles as a member of the greater ensemble.
• MRS. POTIPHAR: (Female, Alto) Indulgent and confident in her pursuit of what she wants, which at this time happens to be Joseph. Skilled dancer and singer. Doubles as a member of the greater ensemble.
• JOSEPH’S BROTHERS: (Various Ranges) – A sharp, high-energy group. They move with precision and style, while each brother brings a distinct personality and point of view. Fueled by jealousy over Joseph’s favored status, they should be strong singers and dancers with a polished contemporary edge. Double as members of the greater ensemble.
• FEMALE ENSEMBLE: High energy & very active. Singers/dancers. Strong, unique characters who sing harmony. A wide range of dance and vocal performance styles.

VIRTUAL COMMUNITY: (Various Ranges) A versatile vocal ensemble that embodies the online world of Dear Evan Hansen. They serve as students, commenters, followers, and the collective digital voice surrounding the story, amplifying both connection and pressure as events unfold. Performers should be strong contemporary singers.
