10 AM – 6 PM 151 West 26th Street, 6th Floor

Lunch from 1:30 – 2:30. New York, NY

Please sing contemporary musical theatre song. Bring sheet music in correct key; accompanist provided buy may not transpose.

Bring picture and resume, stapled together.


SEEKING:

Ruth:

Female, 60s, Strikingly beautiful with grace and class, Staunch with an iron will. a strong woman who holds the pieces to the puzzle that Danny has discovered. Mezzo Soprano. Leading role

Danny:

Male, early 20s, offbeat, not your typical leading man, has a downtown feel and appearance
Contemporary Tenor voice. Leading role

Emily:

Female, early 20s. smart and outspoken, quirky and very attractive, able to see things clearly and is a great springboard to keep Danny focused. Supporting role

Ace:

Male, Late 20s-mid 30s. A Pilot. Charismatic and dashing but sensitive, must have a contemporary sense of style. Lyric baritone to G. Supporting role

Elizabeth:

Female, mid 30s, but plays other ages thru flashbacks, Danny’s mother. A most complex and fragile woman emotionally; displays extremes from the highs of strong confidence to the lows of self-doubt and grief. Mezzo belt to D flat, legit to A flat. Major role.

John Robert:

Male, early 30s. Pilot from a humble family in the Midwest. Heroic and genuine, but tries to appear more educated and sophisticated. –Legit tenor to B. Major supporting role.

Young Ruth:

Female, early 30s. plays younger ages thru flashbacks. John Robert’s love interest, a woman of exceptional Midwestern breeding and class. She is a risk-taker and ahead of her time, Soprano to A, belt to D flat. Supporting role.
