A CHRISTMAS CAROL – OPEN Auditions by Appointment

Six-Week Contract, November 8 - December 19; performances begin December 3.

Actors should prepare a brief monologue (2 minutes) from a play of their choice, and be prepared to sing without accompaniment a few bars of a Christmas song of their choice. Resumes and 8x10 B&W headshots are required at the time of audition.

NCShakes is dedicated to non-traditional casting and invites Equity actors of diverse cultural and racial backgrounds and physical abilities to audition.

Bob Cratchit:

Late 30s to early 50s; a kind, generous, respectful soul; an excellent singer.

Mrs. Cratchit:

Late 30s to early 50s; a passionate mother with deep inner strength; an excellent singer.

Ghost of Christmas Present:

30s to mid-50s; overwhelmingly high spirited, vocally booming and fairly tall; an excellent singer.

Ebenezer as Apprentice:

Mid-20s; serious, confident, eager to succeed; an excellent singer.
